The Home Performance Alliance of CT was founded in 2011 to fulfill a need within the state for a common voice and solid infrastructure to envelop the multiple aspects of the newly evolving home performance industry. The organization began with a small group of energetic, committed leaders in the field of home performance, including business owners, utility representatives, HVAC/insulation and not for profit agencies. Now in our third year, 2014, we are changing direction and moving to increase our impact on the industry to support job growth, support program market transformation, affect legislation, monitor industry quality and increase our training and technical support to the industry. We want to ensure that our collective wisdom and practical experience continues to inform the evolution of this fast growing, increasingly influential industry.

HPACT is a chapter of EfficiencyFirst.org, (www.efficiencyfirst.org) because we believe that home performance is a national concern as much as a local one. Our members are automatically enrolled in EfficiencyFirst as our collaboration with this national organization contributes to our ability to offer our members a voice in the industry and to benefit from the advocacy and expertise they provide.

HPACT as an umbrella organization bringing together all home performance trades. We are in need of financial support as we work to:
  • Expand our services to our members
  • increase our visibility with policy makers and affect legislative decisions
  • provide assistance to prospective home performance contractors
  • Collaborate with other trade associations including  heating and cooling, solar, geothermal, home inspection, etc.
  • Develop training and technical assistance programs for the industry at large
  • Keep members abreast of industry reports, data analysis and best practices
  • Keep members abreast of new products and services and create opportunities

By becoming a sponsor you will align your business with a group of highly motivated home performance industry professionals who are hungry to hear what you have to say or offer their business.  By fostering these relationships, we help you to open doors for identifying opportunities for product development, obtain product feedback from the field, and create an open exchange of product benefits and services. This is how business to business relationships begin and cultivate.

Sponsorship opens the door to involvement with our members at meetings and active committee work that is specific to your business. Your involvement can help to contribute to providing input into opportunities to influence the direction of the organization and the industry as a whole.

You can be as involved as time and resources allow you to. Because we have not sought sponsorships prior to 2014, we are labeling all those who join us this year as a “founding sponsor”, to indicate your belief and support in our goals and visions.

Support in 2014 will allow us to move forward with all our goals and gain greater visibility for our members, and sponsors.

All sponsors are voting members, welcome to sit on committees and one membership to EfficiencyFirst.org.
